To clearly understand all operations processes in receiving and processing stock and orders within a given system and flowing through to the customer.  To analyse all supply chain and fulfilment processes across the business to ensure that stock movement is as efficient as possible whilst providing exceptional service. The role will involve providing recommendations based on data analysis to improve the process where necessary. Providing detailed financial analysis of business change and summary reports of performance will also be necessary.

What you'll be doing: 

  • Provide weekly updates of business performance of all stock movements at stores and warehouse
  • Analyse processes and make recommendations to increase productivity by using actionable measures
  • Review supply chain and stock KPI’s to target and drive efficiency and improvements
  • Work with the e-Commerce teams to understand business expectations and report accordingly
  • Visit stores and DC to review processes and make recommendations that improve the P&L
  • Liaising closely with Customer Services in both store and DC to ensure that sites are equipped to handle volume at key times of the year
  • Understanding online forecasts and ensuring resource is available to handle volume in all sites at key times of the year
  • Processing budgets and forecast for Supply Chain and Fulfilment
  • Produce business cases for investment in Supply Chain and Fulfilment, and tracking delivery of benefits
  • Work closely with Group IT & Supply Chain Director to identify opportunities for simplification that involve IT & Supply Chain

A bit about your experience: 

  • Good numerical skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Qualified or studying towards accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA).
  • Retail/Supply Chain or IT experience preferable
  • Advanced excel skills
  • Power Point presentation creation skills
