Harvey Nichols is in an exciting, ambitious phase of evolution. We are seeking an exceptional Creative Production Manager to join our Creative Content Team and help shape our future, working with all departments to achieve maximum productivity whilst ensuring brand values and quality is maintained.

This role will support the Creative & Marketing department by supervising weekly output of ‘business as usual’ digital editorial production, the content stream, marketing assets and editorial trade actions. You will prioritise the weekly creative content schedule, in addition to bespoke projects, partnerships, regular brand launches and adhoc requests. You will implement and oversee the schedule in order to allocate resource, ensure asset creation and sign-off to meet stringent go-live deadlines.

This position requires a highly organised and proactive individual, with a proven ability to multi-task and excellent communication skills. Taking ownership of the end-to-end production process, workflows and communication from brief through to delivery of assets, you will continue to improve and streamline the Project Management interface for Harvey Nichols.



  • Liaising with the creative, content, marketing, ecommerce, CRM and regional teams, co-ordinate the critical path, scheduling logistics and go-live of each project across all channels, from receipt of brief, through scheduling, copy, design and approvals.
  • Produce realistic schedules on a daily basis. As the main point of contact for all scheduling queries, meet stringent deadlines while having the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, and manage day to day traffic requests.
  • Review all briefs to ensure concise details are captured and the full scope of requests have been submitted and timelines are realistic before circulating to creative content team
  • Manage approvals and deadlines for each stakeholder in a project by trafficking requirements to ensure assigned lead times are met.
  • Managing inter-departmental expectations, using excellent negotiation skills, strive to improve creative workflows, ensuring deadlines and last-minute sales driven requests are met
  • Evolve the creative production schedule, workflow and briefing process to a robust and workable system that delivers business needs.
  • Collate the ‘business as usual’ assets for sign off and circulate all stakeholders, for sign off and oversee any amends.
  • Working with the Fashion & Creative Content Editor, Editor and Content Writers to prioritise the weekly content on the Stories hub
  • Working alongside the design and writing teams, confidently control day to day briefing traffic and creative requests, keeping the production log and scheduling calendar up to date as you go.
  • Support the Creative Content team by acting as the intermediary between Creative, Marketing, stores and Online teams to ensure schedules are coordinated.
  • Seek updates and assess the impact of other department projects and plans to manage expectations all round.
  • Troubleshoot any work-flow issues and elevate them to senior team members where necessary.
  • Manage the production team consisting of creative producer and bookings editor and shoot coordinator.
  • Oversee management of the creative and content department budget with monthly reporting to finance team.

  • A comprehensive understanding and interest in the luxury industry, encompassing beauty, food and hospitality
  • Strong team leadership and project management skills
  • A strong understanding of the digital art-working process
  • Confident in managing up, down and across teams.
  • A balance of creative and commercial know-how
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and
  • Should ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Experience in project management/workflow tools such as Trello, Monday etc.
  • Shoot production experience is desirable but not essential.
