Luxury department store, Harvey Nichols, is searching for a new Pastry Commis Chef to join its thriving restaurants instore in Knightsbridge. Our culture is based on inclusivity; we embrace diversity. Whoever you are, Harvey Nichols has a place for you. 

As the new Pastry Commis Chef, you will work 40 hours a week in our Knightsbridge store.

About the role…

As a Pastry Commis Chef, you will: 

  • Be environmentally conscious and works towards a low waste operation.
  • Maintaining, organizing, and running of section.
  • Correct Storage and labelling of food produces, equipment, and dry goods.
  • Stock rotation of food and ordering levels via demand of service
  • To have basic food knowledge with a passion in learning and developing your skills.
  • To maintain a clean and tidy kitchen and adhering to all health and safety requirements, regelation, and policy
  • To ensure you have a comprehensive understanding of recipe and allergens.
  • To assist with the preparation of dishes, following methods and recipe to keep consistency, plating and presenting dishes according to instructions.
  • Ensuring your work is always delivered to the highest standard.
