Commis Chef – The Role

This is a great opportunity for an experienced chef to work with an energetic, highly skilled and knowledgeable team, gaining invaluable skills and knowledge to assist them in their career. This is a full time role working, 45 hours a week, inlcuding weekends and evenings.

What you will be doing

  • Support all Senior chefs across the kitchen
  • Clean and prepare foodstuffs as directed/ supervised by senior staff
  • To operate and clean equipment with due regard to safety, correct method, as instructed and in accordance with the manufactures’ instructions
  • Work closely with your team and celebrate fabulousness wherever you see it
  • You will be based at our beautiful Restaurant and Brasserie on St Andrew Square, a short walk from Waverley Station

Skills and experience you need

  • Experience working in a busy kitchen
  • Good knife skills
  • Elementary food hygiene.
