BEAUTY CONCIERGE CONSULTANT - KNIGHTSBRIDGE

The new role is a great opportunity for someone to come in and build and expand our client base through exceptional customer service and beauty knowledge. This role will work across all Beauty brands and provide a concierge service and look at how to maximise sales opportunities using all available channels of retailing. You will work with the brands, with Private Shopping, with our Corporate Events teams and build yur own client book, as well as developing opportunities to support the business in ensuring that Harvey Nichols is the “go-to” destination for beauty. A Beauty expert, someone who can edit through the entire offer to guide the clients with the best products for every need, in our revolutionary and luxurious Beauty environment.

What you will be doing:

• Maximise sales by actively seeking to increase the department’s client base, devise and implement initiatives to achieve this
• Drive pre booked appointments for clients and ensure appropriate information is communicated
• Always present the highest personal standards and be a role model for the Harvey Nichols brand values and promises
• Drive sales through offering knowledgeable and professional beauty advice to clients
• Confidently and pro-actively provide information about our brands, products, and services to enhance the customer experience
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to really understand customer needs, promoting the right products, brands, services, and events and making reservations as required
• Show a passion for our store, it’s products and services, demonstrate a genuine interest in beauty
• Maintain a high level of knowledge about the Harvey Nichols Loyalty Programme to be able to promote the rewards and upsell to customers
• Ensure that effective communication and close liaison is maintained with team colleagues, managers, internal and external brands partners
• Build and maintain external relationships to maximise on sales opportunities
• Day to day management of online customer enquiries regarding beauty
• Identify opportunities to expand and develop Harvey Nichols client base
• Build strong client relationships and develop a client list to maximise sales and customer retention
• Manage a VIP client list, creating and developing relationships to maximise sales and client retention
• Maintain up to date product knowledge of past, current, and future beauty ranges, as well as keeping abreast of trends
• Manage the life cycle of customer enquiries and ensure each client interaction is followed through to the end

A bit about your experience:

• Previous sales experience (experience in beauty is desirable)
• Previous experience of working with a client base
• Previous experience of working towards a specific set of KPIs
• Extensive knowledge of the current beauty trends
• PC, Web, Ecommerce, and technology literate
