About the role… 

As Beauty Buyer you will drive trade for the beauty category, via resourcing and recommending the appropriate ranges of products in line with market trends and performance. Support the category with a 360 approach and working closely with all the key teams such as merchandising, online, marketing, PR, media, CRM, digital, social media, distribution, and retail.

• Research, prepare and present product ranges to the Head of Beauty Buying and/or Board of Directors to meet the above, taking into account sales history, trends and space allocation to products and product seasonality.
• Resource, select, recommend, and buy a commercial range of product for all stores and online in accordance with agreed buying objectives.
• Ensure the department buying team are recruited and trained to develop potential and meet Company requirements, in addition to this, you will work closely with the online team in both e-commerce and Editorial teams to ensure the best range of brands and products is available online including securing exclusives.
• Working closely with Press & Marketing, media, CRM digital to co-ordinate activity with new exciting and existing brands. Communicate with the key teams to ensure Beauty gets the best coverage both internally and externally.
