To assist the Assistant Merchandiser and Merchandiser with administrative support for the Beauty Department.

What you'll be doing: 

  • Monitor and chase all deliveries of stocks from Suppliers to Stores to ensure the timely arrival of all products, liaising with the Merchandiser, Buyer, Supplier and Warehouse.
  • Raise weekly replenishment orders for continuity lines as requested.
  • Create new launch products on the system and raise orders as requested.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date delivery schedules.
  • Identify and resolve Supplier and Warehouse queries quickly and efficiently. Arrange direct to store deliveries where necessary.
  • Liaise with store teams on a weekly basis, providing store feedback.
  • Manage supplier returns. Check all debit notes for returned goods and supplier funding.
  • Allocate, IWT and recall stock as requested.
  • Resolve invoice and product queries quickly and efficiently. Check all debit notes for returned goods and liaise with the Accounts Department.
  • Amend and maintain cost and retail prices.
  • Send weekly sales figures to suppliers and build supplier and departmental relations through regular and effective communication.
  • Prepare accurate stock and sales reports and analysis as requested.
  • Maintain departmental files.
  • Ensure all continuity and launch orders are raised and sent within the given deadline.
  • Weekly sales reports are sent to brands in timely manner.
  • Ensure invoices and queries are resolved on a weekly basis.
  • Help monitor overstocks and understocks and raise relevant inter branch transfers and recalls as requested.
  • Develop good working relationships with the stores and suppliers.
  • Help protect the sales margin, reviewing all orders before sending to suppliers.

  • Computer literate with good working knowledge of Excel
