Work with the Bar Manager and Assistant Bar Manager to ensure the satisfaction of all customers by ensuring that prompt, courteous and efficient service is given by your team, at all times.
Organise daily shifts to ensure smooth running of the bar, complete team briefs and ensure clear communication between the Bar, Brasserie and Restaurant.
Ensure all drinks produced by your team are of the highest standard.
Ensure wastage and glass breakages are kept to a minimum communicating any areas for concern to your line manager.
Act as a role model for the team in demonstrating excellent customer service, personal presentation, and knowledge of local environment and HN.
Resolve customer queries and complaints in a professional manner, ensuring that communication is maintained with the customer at all times. Discuss with your line manager any complaints that have not been satisfactorily resolved.
Instigate and maintain high morale, motivation and team spirit, recognising outstanding performance and contribution to team objectives.
Deal with conduct and performance issues appropriately, referring more serious or recurring problems to you line manager.
Assist in identifying training requirements within your team and ensure quality on-job training is provided and recorded.
Assist in ensuring all staff have a thorough knowledge and understanding of all items on the menus and are able to impart this information to customers correctly and with enthusiasm.
Ensure all bar equipment is maintained correctly and all areas, including cellars and store rooms, are presented to the highest standards, making sure cleaning rotas and hygiene standards are completed and met.
Ensure all Health and Safety requirements are adhered to and maintained and that a safe environment is maintained for customers, staff and suppliers
Ensure that personal KPI’s are achieved
Ensure the bar is ready for business at the opening times
Keep staff busy and productive at all times
Ensure the team meets the standards addressing and correcting any issues
