We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Assistant Restaurant & Bar Manager to join our busy and bustling team in our Second Floor restaurant in Bristol at Cabot Circus.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Front of House Manager to work with an energetic, highly skilled and knowledgeable team, gaining invaluable skills and knowledge to assist them in their career. This role is full time, 40 hours per week, working weekends and evenings

What you will be doing:

Assist the Bar and Restaurant Managers in the smooth running of the Second Floor Restaurant and Bar to the highest possible standards of customer service.

Ensure the satisfaction of all customers by ensuring that prompt, courteous and efficient service is given by you, and your team, at all times.

Effectively manage staffing levels, ensuring that these correspond to the present and future business levels. 

Help to identify and implement new business opportunities.

Support with effectively marketing the function using the in-house Press & Marketing Manager and external agencies where appropriate, planning specific promotions and events.

Assist in managing all resources for front of house operations, ensuring costs for staff and other expenditure are controlled and stock and equipment are used efficiently.

Ensure the Second Floor meets statutory requirements for Risk Assessment standards and that staff are trained on procedures which minimise the risk of injury, illness and damage.

The role is full time, working 40 hours a week. You will be required to work weekends and evenings.


Skills and experience you need:

Previous Front of House Hospitality experience

PC literate

Ability to analyse and understand numerical data

An impressive track record of operational strength and financial accountability
