Principal Accountabilities

  • Co-ordinating and supporting the bi-annual stock inventory process ensuring that the stock team are fully compliant with group wide processes governing it.
  • Highlight to Stock Control Manager poor performing areas at the point of inventory to establish where processes are not being followed or whether there is an internal issue with transfers, allocations or selling practises.
  • To review outstanding On Approvals regularly and liaise closely with shop floor staff where there is non-compliance to avoid the store being outside of KPI.
  • Support Stock Control Manager in ensuring that the team responsible for both External and Internal Stock Deliveries are compliant with KPIS’s.
  • To investigate requests for stock adjustments to be certain that they are genuine. Investigate root cause and escalate to Stock Control Manager.
  • Provide regular reports to the Stock Control Manager to demonstrate departmental performance and compliance to Store and Head Office Stock KPIs.
  • Assist with gaining business insights and create SMART action plans to improve execution and results.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Good knowledge of Merret and OFS would be advantageous
  • Excel – Intermediate Level
  • Outstanding communication skills across all levels of the business
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
  • Meticulous in detail
