We are seeking an Account Payable Assistant – Part Time to join our Account Payable team and to support the business across all accounts payable, invoice processing and payments.
As an Account Payable Assistant you will ensure that all documents relating to the ledger are efficiently and accurately processed to effect payments to suppliers within agreed terms and settlement discounts taken, as well as updating purchases.
What you will be doing
Code and input invoices into the system and scan all posted documents
Liaise with suppliers, warehouse and other members of staff to resolve queries and raise debit notes as appropriate
Deal with stock difference by liaising with the warehouse staff and the merchandising department in order to trace stock
Reconcile supplier statements daily
Ensure all month end and year end processes are completed
Skills and experience you need
You have a previous experience in accounts payable
You have a previous experience of dealing with foreign suppliers
You have an advanced level in Excel
You have an excellent organisational skills
You are a confident communicator, both written and verbal
You have an excellent work ethic and ability to multitask
You are a positive and friendly person
You have a can-do attitude
