We are looking for a full-time temporary Stock Movement Assistant to join our team in Bristol, you will support and assist the stock movement team.
Working as part of the Stock Movement team, you will be responsible for taking in deliveries to the store, ensuring that all goods are handled appropriately. You will also be required to deliver goods to various departments within the store and to the stockroom in a timely and professional manner, arrange and receive direct and warehouse deliveries, including postal deliveries and liaise with delivery companies to ensure our service is second to none.
In addition you will need to maintain a keen awareness of store security procedures and policies and carry out stock checks as requested as well as ensuring the department is maintained in a safe manner, free from hazards, adhering to store Health & Safety regulations at all times.
The ideal applicant will be enthusiastic, a good team player and have excellent attention to detail. You will be customer focussed, have excellent interpersonal skills and a strong ability to organise your own workload. Experience in a similar environment would be an advantage.
Computer literacy is essential as the role requires daily use of computer based systems.
This role may be physically demanding at times, with some heavy lifting required. This will be on a rota basis, 40 hours per week including weekends for a fixed term.
