Then this may be the role for you! We are looking for a Cash Office Assistant to join our team in Leeds.
The role of a Cash Office Assistant is to ensure that all daily takings are counted accurately and banked promptly and to ensure controls and procedures are adhered to, in order to minimise the risk of financial loss. You will be responsible for the delivery of the back of house administration functions in line with the company audit requirements and policy.
Tasks will include: banking and float reconciliation, foreign currency management, investigating and reporting till discrepancies and transaction disputes, ensuring change management is efficient, dealing with queries and completing paperwork.
The ideal candidate for this position will have previous Cash Office experience and excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. You must work with a high level of attention to detail with strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and logical problem solving skills are required for this role, along with the ability to multitask and deal with interruptions to workload and manage your own time effectively. A methodical and pragmatic approach to your work is essential.
This position is part time 16 hours, flexibility is essential as shifts will include early/late shifts and weekends.
