I first joined Harvey Nichols as a Customer Accounts Assistant in the London Flagship store. Here I was given the opportunity to have a one to one direct contact with customers along with processing vat refunds for our overseas customers and overseeing any customer complaints or refunds. Opening accounts for our HN card holders and purchase of HN gift vouchers was also a main key point as part of my position.Harvey Nichols ensures that employees are able to develop their skills in other areas that they are interested in, this was perfect for my progression within the Company. I therefore, applied for a vacancy at the Head Office for the position of an Accounts Payable Team Leader where I was able to develop my skills further at a more managerial level. From there I proved my abilities and took the step up to Accounts Payable Supervisor then Assistant Accounts Payable Manager.
My progression in the company has been one of my greatest achievements. This has given me the confidence and strength to encourage and motivate my team ensuring successful results are delivered and company goals are met.Currently I am the Accounts Payable Manager appointed at the end of 2010 and have recently reached my 10 years service with the Company. My 10 years of service has been great and additional satisfaction is acquired by me being able to manage a very dynamic team who have supported me through out.Harvey Nichols has provided me with an amazing opportunity to progress and achieve all that I have achieved within in the company. I am absolutely proud to be a part of the Harvey Nichols team and of course happy to take on any new challenges.
